Group trips of 10 to 25 people
Group trips, starting with a minimum of 10 people and up to a maximum of 25, also have discounts. Discounts vary depending on the type of train you want to travel on:
Discounts on AVE and Larga Distancia (long distance high-speed) trains:
- Get an 8% discount on the price you would pay as a group if you bought your tickets individually.
- This discount does not allow you to purchase extra add-ins and does not allow partial changes or cancellations.
- Children under the age of 4 who do not occupy a seat can travel for free, up to a maximum of 4 for each group of 25 people.
Changes and cancellations
- These tickets do not allow changes and can only be cancelled if they are all cancelled and with a deduction of 15%.
- If they are cancelled with less than 48 hours before the trip, the cancellation cost will be 75%.
Discounts on Avant (Mid-Distance High-Speed) and Media Distancia (Mid-Distance):
For group trips between 10 and 25 people, enjoy the following discounts:
- On Avant (mid-distance high-speed) trains: 15% discount.
- On Media Distancia (Mid-Distance) trains: 20% discount. Children under the age of 4 can travel for free and if they are between 4 and 13 years old travel with 40 discount%. School, association and cultural organization groups can benefit from special conditions for Media Distancia trips, with 40% discounts and up to 50% for minors.
Changes and cancellations
- These tickets do not allow changes and can only be cancelled if they are all cancelled and with a deduction of 15%.
Group trips of over 25 people
Friends, big family gatherings, leisure or work trips. Groups of more than 25 people also benefit from significant discounts when travelling with Renfe:
- Contact us at least 10 days before the date of the trip.
- Depending on the characteristics of your trip (number of people, day, time, train, etc.), an adjusted quote will be provided for your approval. The group price is fixed, it cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
- Remember to specify if any member of the group is going to request assistance due to reduced mobility or an H seat (seat with wheelchair anchoring points).
- Please note that if the tickets have already been purchased, you will not be able to make any changes.
